What CNN Tour is complete without a picture alongside Ted Turner?  Okay, so he's a cardboard cutout.  The real Ted Turner was probably around somewhere.

Agnes got a chance to try out the teleprompter.  The text is reflected on a two-way mirror towards the newscaster.  A camera sits directly behind the mirror so that as Agnes reads the text, she is also looking right at the camera.  She's standing in front of a blue screen, which can be substituted with all sorts of other images.  The background is blue or green because neither color occurs in skin pigment.

The rest of the studio tour didn't allow us to take pictures, but we got to see the production floor (where the producers decide what to report, and the writers write the news) as well as part of a live newscast.  Dr. Sanjay Gupta was in the studio.
