Vacation in Atlanta and New York

Day 5 was pretty uneventful.  We tried driving to Philadelphia to visit some friends, but we had to give up after it took us three hours to travel 40 miles.  Fortunately, we had the audio book of the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.  We made it through almost four CDs (out of fifteen).

After we returned to the City, we met up with Albert to eat dinner at Gray's Papaya, which was featured in the movie "Fools Rush In" with Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, as well as "Sex and the City".  We had a couple of hot dogs.

We watched "Pirates of the Caribbean" that night (very entertaining), and later, we stopped by the huge post office near Penn Station.  I had forgotten that I had to book a flight by that night, so we stopped so I could look up the information I needed.  We also bought some stamps.  It's nice that the post office is open so late.
