livers and gizzards

We arrived in New York that night.  Albert didn't get food on the flight, so we ordered takeout from a local Chinese place.  In addition to some chow foon, beef and broccoli and three containers of pineapple slices, we got fried chicken livers and gizzards.  The livers are on the left.  These two dishes were the first items on a big list of food we were planning on having in New York.
