We saw an exhibit of statues by Jean-Antoine Houdon
who sculpted many famous people from the late 1700s to the early 1800s.
Photography wasn't allowed. We decided that during this visit we would
mostly take a look at the buildings, the gardens, and the views of
the surrounding area. On later visits, we can see the art.
At the back of the Getty Center we found a cactus
garden. As we walked by, we saw a hummingbird eating nectar from one
of the flowers. In our picture on the right, though, it is resting.
