This year on Veteran's Day, we both had the day off. We decided to visit the Getty Center, which we've been meaning to do for quite some time. When the Getty Center opened in December 1997, it was completely packed, and you had to make reservations to visit. Reservations are no longer required, but when we arrived at the main parking lot, we were directed to the overflow parking lot near Wilshire and Sepulveda. At the overflow parking lot, there was a line to wait for the shuttle that would take us to the Getty Center.
