Yosemite Trees

After eight hours on the road, we finally arrived at Yosemite. We didn't go straight for the valley, but instead took a detour to the Mariposa grove where they have giant sequoias. This allowed the kids to stretch their legs a bit before spending another 45 minutes getting to our lodge. We took a bathroom break. The kids were a bit freaked that the toilets were essentially holes leading down ten feet into a big pit.
