INGREDIENTS
- 8-10 mussels per person
- salt and cracked pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Scrub and de-beard mussels
- Warm an iron skillet for 2-3 minutes on medium heat
- Add mussels in a single layer on the bottom of the skillet
- Turn heat up to high
- The mussels will open and be cooked in 3-4 minutes
- Sprinkle with salt and cracked pepper
- Serve
Note: The juice from the mussels will drip onto the skillet and char a bit, so you may not want to use a teflon pan.
