INGREDIENTS

  • 8-10 mussels per person
  • salt and cracked pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Scrub and de-beard mussels
  2. Warm an iron skillet for 2-3 minutes on medium heat
  3. Add mussels in a single layer on the bottom of the skillet
  4. Turn heat up to high
  5. The mussels will open and be cooked in 3-4 minutes
  6. Sprinkle with salt and cracked pepper
  7. Serve

Note: The juice from the mussels will drip onto the skillet and char a bit, so you may not want to use a teflon pan.
